Meedie Bardonille, RN, FCN, PCCN-K: Team leader, nurse wellness advocate, award-winning volunteer
Meedie Bardonille RN, FCN, PCCN-K, is a nursing leader focused on patient-centered care models with over a decade of healthcare experience. Meedie earned her bachelor’s in nursing from Howard University and her Masters in Nursing, Nurse Administration and Leadership from Jacksonville University. She currently serves as the Nurse Director for Surgical Oncology at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center and the Chair of the DC Board of Nurses. Her specialties include evidence-based project management techniques and servant leadership in acute-care settings.
Michaela Popelková, BSN, RN: Experienced cancer nurse, patient advocate, volunteer
Michaela Popelková has been a nurse for over a decade. She earned a degree in general medicine in 2011 and a bachelor’s in general nursing in 2013 from Charles University in the Czech Republic. She worked in a social welfare department for war veterans as a nurse and a private urology clinic as an assistant chief physician, before climbing the ranks at Motol University Hospital to unit manager and charge nurse. She joined the European Cancer Nursing Society in 2018 and served as the Czech Republic representative on the Young Cancer Nurses Network. She relocated to the states and lives in North Carolina with her family, and continues to volunteer as co-chair of the Young Cancer Nurses Network as she pursues U.S. certification.
Alisia Granville, MSN, CCRN: Transformational leader, experienced nurse manager
Alisia Granville, MSN, CCRN, is an established professional nurse with extensive clinical and administrative practice. She worked as a nurse and nurse manager for over a decade and earned her master’s in healthcare systems management and nursing leadership from Loyola University New Orleans. Alisia is a leader at heart and in practice, and founded THE nursemanagerCOACH in 2021 to support and provide resources and connections for nurse managers and leaders throughout the field. She is an effective transformational leader, who inspires and promotes professional development of nursing leaders and nursing excellence. She’s produced high performing medical units and nursing teams throughout her years of nursing service.
Angel Daniels, DNP, MSN.ed, RN, CCM: Transformational nurse leader, educator, lifelong learner
Dr. Angel Daniels, DNP, MSN.ed,RN, CCM, is a clinical transformation manager with broad experience in the hospital and healthcare industry. She is currently serving as the program chair at the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing in Virginia. She holds a doctorate of nursing practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing, with a concentration in health system leadership, and is also a certified case manager. She also has a history of diversity and inclusion work, serving as co-chair on the Virginia Nurses Association DEI Council and the AACC Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Leadership Network. She’s also held leadership roles in DNPs of Color and the Central Virginia Chapter Black Nurses Association.
Andrea Jaramillo, BSN, RN: Hospice & clinical research nurse, educator, forest therapy guide
Andrea Jaramillo, BSN, RN, is a deeply experienced nurse, and has worked in multiple fields. Right now, she works in the Boston area as a hospice nurse on the multicultural team with Good Shepherd Community Care, a clinical nurse consultant with Healthero.io, and a clinical research nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute for Patient Care. She also teaches an annual workshop on Mind Maps at Harvard Medical School’s Macy Institute. Searching for some healing during the pandemic, she became a certified forest therapy guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and earned a wilderness first aid certification. A champion of nursing innovation, she also earned a certificate of Nursing Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership from Drexel University.
