Carey Clark, PhD, RN, RYT, AHN-BC, FAAN: Nursing educator & researcher, holistic wellness advocate
Dr. Carey Clark is a professor and the former director of Nursing Programs at Pacific College of Health Sciences where she developed the first academic medical cannabis care certificate program. Most recently, she is the editor of the Wolters-Kuhlwer textbook Cannabis: A Handbook for Nurses. She is the immediate past president of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, where she developed the initial version of the Scope and Standards for Cannabis Nurse Practice. She’s taught across the levels of nursing academia from ASN to Doctoral levels and served on many Ed.D and Ph.D. dissertation committees. She has over 40 publications in journals such as International Journal for Human Caring, Holistic Nursing Practice, Creative Nursing, and Advances in Nursing Science.
Jiwon Lee, MSN, RN: Nurse, educator, innovator
Jiwon Lee is a registered nurse with experience in several fields of nursing. She earned a master’s of science in nursing, health leadership, and nursing education from the University of Pennsylvania, and has since taught as an adjunct professor at Helene Fuld College of Nursing in New York. Jiwon is passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, and recently participated in the NurseHack4Health. She also authors a blog in Korean for nurses in Korea considering a career in the United States.
Danielle McCamey, DNP, APRN, ACNP-BC, FCCP: Nurse leader, clinician, mentor, educator
Dr. Danielle McCamey got her BS in nursing from the University of Virginia, and started her nursing career at Georgetown University Hospital. Shortly afterwards, she obtained her MS from Georgetown University, specializing in acute care advanced practice, and went on to earn a doctorate in nursing practice from Georgetown University, where her dissertation focused on integration of palliative care screening of neurosurgical patients on admissions. She has over 16 years of critical care nursing experience and nearly a decade as an acute nurse practitioner. Currently, she works as the Chief Advanced Practice Provider of the Preanesthesia Testing Department and Senior Advanced Practice Provider in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. In 2019, she was inducted as a fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians. Danielle is the founder, CEO and president of DNPs of Color, Inc., and was inspired to create DNPs of Color because she wanted to create a space, a community for DOCs to elevate themselves, the nursing profession and communities through the richness of our diversity.
Dawn Jones, RN, NC-BC: Holistic nurse coach, experienced clinical nurse
Dawn Jones is a board certified holistic nurse coach with an extensive clinical back bedside background in neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, dialysis, and as a transplant team coordinator. She founded her coaching business What the Actual Health (WTAhealth.com) in May 2021, and now works with nurses to practice love and self-compassion and feel empowered to be an expert on their needs and choices. Through coaching principles and healing modalities, she supports healing in the body, mind, emotion, spirit, and environment. She believes that health promotion and holistic wellness starts with the nurse, so we need healthcare professionals who engage in healthy lifestyles to model health and wellness at work, home, and in the community.
Marion Leary, MSN, MHP: Innovation educator, resuscitation researcher, nurse advocate
Marion Leary is walking, talking, and teaching innovation. She is the director of innovation for the University of Pennsylvania's School of Nursing. She earned her master's degree in nursing at Penn in health leadership, a master's degree in public health at Penn, and is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Nursing, focusing on innovation and technology. She’s been a contributor to the Huffington Post, host of a podcast or two, and in the last decade founded ImmERge Labs, LLC, which uses augmented and virtual reality platforms to reimagine how we prepare for emergencies, and Sink or Swim Philadelphia, a non-profit working to assist people who were uninsured or underinsured raise funds to pay for medical expenses using social media and medical crowd-funding.
